Las Lomas in Muscatine

Great place for Mexican/American food. Most of the staff is bilingual, many are long term employees.The decor is good, the food is quite Americanized. Their tacos come with hard shells, tomatoes, and cheese unless you order them differently. The cost of most entrees are reasonable, but some of the imported drinks can be expensive.

Food and Service was great! If you need extra spice, just ask. The ceviche tostadas are very good. I had one of each (one shrimp and one fish) Menudo on the weekends!

Delicious! We had special requests and our carryout order was made correctly. Can't wait til quarantine is over and we can eat-in!

This is the best Mexican food in the area. Quality, quantity and price can't be beat.

2 years ago we tried this place and we weren't impressed. Lately we decided to try again, and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the fajitas and chicken taco salad are! Keep it up!

Great food! Good weather so I could eat outside on the patio for social distancing. My server wore a mask and the mole poblano was delish.

It was very hot with fans running. Usually I don't like to give bad reviews because of one thing but the food was not even tasty enough to offset the overly warm seating area. I did hear one staffer comment on being short staffed. With 3 things I would rate them on, all were bad.

Only mexican restaurant in Muscatine that was open, cause of Rona. Service was fast and friendly. That was with a pretty full house. Food was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend.

Charged for refills without mentioning it. Charged 4% for using debit card. Food was good. Won't go back.

Loved the food and service.

I had the Shrimp Fajitas and they were some of the best ones I've eaten. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the veggies still had a little crispness and weren't swimming in oil. Tried the corn tortillas for a change and was a nice match with them. My wife had a vegetarian entree and she also enjoyed hers. Rock on!

The most bland steak tacos my family has ever had. Chicken chimis are perfect though. Wish they had real margaritas, not that mixed stuff.

The salsa was really good. The lunch specials that were ordered were a very good portion and the veggies were cooked perfectly. I would recommend this as a very good Mexican place with great chips and salsa and very fast service.

Really a 2.5. Not horrible but not what I was looking for when it comes to Mexican food. Carnitas were good but salsa was bland and lacked spice. Maybe overall it just lacked the spice and seasoning correlated with Mexican food.

I have enjoyed Mexican food at this restaurant few week back. I love their food. Their service is also very nice and their staff members are great in their work.

I love this place! Amazing authentic food! Also the staff is so friendly and on top of everything! When my husband and I want to go out to eat we always have Las Lomas on the list!

Good food. Took a while to get the food but the place was clean and had good music. Food was pretty good as well, just took a while for it to come out.

While it may not be the very best of the community's Mexican restaurants, they do make some pretty darn good authentic Mexican food. It is a privately owned business and the prices are reasonable. I do know that the employees prepping the food and cooking the food are Hispanic. I must admit that English is not the primary language spoken here and sometimes that can be a barrier but most of the servers can interpret quite well and I've never had any problems getting what I ordered.

The food is amazing or at least everything we tried. The service was a little slow about coming back around to check on you but prompt with any requests. I will definitely eat there again and I recommend trying it out if you haven't.

Amazing food! I do not get to this town often but this is my restaurant of choice! The staff was very courteous and the food was delivered hot, correct and very quickly! I would highly recommend this little restaurant to anyone desiring a wonderful Mexican meal!

Food is great and service is amazing! Super friendly waiters! They go above and beyond! I will say that I'm not a huge fan of their margaritas though.
